Seriously?!? Why bother?

You may have noticed that I cook, eat and bookmark many vegetarian and vegan recipes. For many years, I have been varying degrees of an aspiring vegetarian. These days, my aspirations are more organic animal protein-centric, but thats OK.

“I’ve learned that it doesn’t matter what other people think; life is far too short to not find pleasure in food. And sometimes that means eating bacon!”

One of my most favorite of kindred bloggers, New Old-Fashioned Gal, posted a few weeks ago on her vegetarianism. The insightful comments are worth the click alone.

Thank you so much! I’m glad that you liked it. I bit the bullet a week ago and tried meat. It wasn’t as strange as I thought it would be. I will be writing a follow up soon, but have still been trying to work out all my thoughts on it.
