Cinnamon Crescent Rolls

by starxlr8 on April 8, 2008

This simple dessert, snack, or breakfast treat offers a lighter take on cinnamon rolls. Spread a scant amount of butter on a crescent roll triangle. Sprinkle with cinnamon and the sugar (or substitute) of your choice. Roll up and bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees. Drizzle vanilla icing over the top and dig in.

Alternate preparation – Do not separate crescent roll dough into triangles. Split full dough lengthwise into two long rectangles. Follow preparation steps, but do not roll up on the bias. Roll up lengthwise and slice into 3/4 in rounds. Bake for 15 minutes and watch bite size cinnamon rolls spring up in the oven.
