The girls and I marched in the very chilly local parade the Saturday before Thanksgiving. I thought this was just a small suburban parade - little did I know there is THE main parade for our side of the entire metro area. We were #71 and were not even close to being in the middle. And by “we” I mean the entire Girl Scout council, not our troop. The girls enjoyed throwing candy and being ‘on parade’. There were not too keen on waving for some reason.
