I got my beauty sleep
Internal monologue - “StarXLR8, why are earth do you think the people reading your blog have any interest in your sleep habits.”
StarXLR8 - “Because they do, darn it. I am a fabulous, fascinating woman of the world. Plus, they have no choice. I’ve lured them in with adorable photos of my cats cheese enchiladas.”
I wanted to report my 1 day progress on project sleep.
- No caffeine after noon - gold star!
- My supper was grilled cheese and fries - honorable mention for eating in when I wanted to eat out
- I didn’t get home until 8:15 and I was starving. Not sure about the 8pm rule.
- I was in bed by 9:45 pm - gold star!
- I did use the alarm across the room - but I got up at 5, turned on the light, reset it for 5:30, used the potty, and went back to sleep. 5:30 wasn’t too bad - gold star for getting to work on time!

Glad to know that you used the potty. Gold star!
Grilled cheese is a great comfort food and so long as it wasn’t too greasy, should be great for settling your stomach for sleepy-poo time. No tomato soup with it?
Ever try reading in bed? Something soothing to lull you to sleep. I hear War and Peace is good.

I have absolutely no problems falling asleep. I’m just not disciplined enough to get to bed early enough to feel well-rested in the morning.
